Mari: So, how did you find yourself here?
Judith: I immigrated from the Philippines in 2007, and was the head chef at a Chinese restaurant in Brickell, on my break I would go walking downtown and all of a sudden saw an opportunity. I never planned it, it was God’s plan!
I was praying to have a business and God allowed for this to happen.
Mari: Who are your typical customers?
Judith: The primary customers are the people from cruise ships, because there are a lot of Filipino crew members on the ships. We are serving different people and need to entertain the different mood that they have! It takes a lot of courage because different people come every day.
There are only two Filipino restaurants in the area.Mari: And how is it going?
Judith: It’s a blessing. By God’s grace we are doing very well
Mari: And what is your favorite dish?
Judith: My favorite food is pork adobo, pork slices cooked in soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and onions
